Hi! I'm Miriam Oppel, a versatile dance artist based in London UK, widely recognized for my expertise in salsa and mambo, with a passion for teaching, performing, and choreography. Guiding aspiring dancers has a special place in my heart. I always endeavour to create a nurturing environment where growth flourishes and students develop confidence. My love of and involvement in choreography and performance brings me unique adventures, working with individuals and groups both in the UK and abroad. Finding new ways to channel my ever growing inspiration through music , costume , theme and dance, is an exciting process. It's especially rewarding and fulfilling to create shows that leave lasting impressions on audiences.
I'm also an established wedding dance instructor, working over 15 years for Start the Dance (Regional Wedding Industry Awards winner) and teaching over 1000 couples. From beginners to the experienced, I'll make it my priority to create your dream first dance, be it simple and natural looking, elaborate and fancy, or a famous dance reconstruction.
I tailor my teaching approach to make every couple's dance a unique expression of their personalities, celebrating their special day in style.
